The following, I hope will help to explain and make things clearer for you………
The reason I recommended that you read through this section first before deciding what help to seek for your specific condition is because you need to be informed of the reasons behind your condition. I’m not discounting other treatments may work for you, but in my experience in helping to successfully treat chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia sufferers it isn’t as simplistic as just selecting a treatment because they say it works. Additional knowledge will give you greater insight to why and where your condition may have come from…..this will then give you the suggested best course of treatment to ensure results. It can be a minefield out there when seeking help, hopefully this section will help you see and understand things more clearly.
I will deal with both the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and the Fibromyalgia (FM) condition. Although different ‘labels’ they can be related conditions, one sometimes accompanies the other. Although the term Fibromyalgia is used to label a particular condition, in my experience, Fibromyalgia can be a condition that can be attributed to a large number of different reasons, as can Chronic Fatigue. They are not ‘one size fits all’ conditions and determining that it is just one area that may have caused the condition is very naïve thinking. There can be many contributory factors, some arising as a result of the condition and not the reason for it. Be wary of practitioners that say just one type of treatment will effect success.
Below you will find a listing of what I have found, in my experience of treating CFS and FM sufferers what can cause the conditions to come about:
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome(ME) / Fibromyalgia
1) Stress, concern or anxiety.
A propensity for the individual to be quite sensitive and emotional. To be a ‘worrier’. This can sometimes be a prolonged period of stress or a single stressful experience. Of late I have tended to see more late teens/early twenties people – either at university or ex-university but it can affect anyone. (the youngest individual I have helped overcome CFS was aged 16). Sometimes the condition may have been prevalent from an early age in the persons life; they just thought that their lack of energy was ‘normal’.
2) Overwork.
This can be linked in with the above i.e. overwork and stress. One individual I helped had had been working 3 jobs at one point as well as a stressful home life (she also had FM). Sometimes people who are termed perfectionists can be potentials for this too.
3) Parasites, Toxins (inc. metals), Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi, Moulds etc;
Pardon the pun but this does open up a ‘can of worms’ and these areas have to have the correct treatment to be removed, they can prove to be quite stubborn to remove – see my therapy treatment process for more information. Through experience I have found that this is a presenting area that can provoke CFS and FM. Normal medical scans will not pick up minute toxins, parasites etc; and therefore you may have been told that there’s nothing wrong with you. Any and all of these can prevent our body’s systems operating normally. An innocent visit to a tropical climate, mild food poisoning, exposure to toxins you may not have been aware of can all be contributory factors. I do not want this to sound like ‘scaremongering’ I’m simply stating what can contribute to the CFS and FM conditions coming about.
4) Aerotoxic Syndrome
A severely debilitating condition that can affect air passengers and aircrew after they have been exposed to noxious fumes from the jet engines entering the cabin. Most of the people with this syndrome suffer from chronic fatigue, those that have had the appropriate blood/fat tests have usually found high levels of petroleum related chemicals and metals such as nickel, cadmium and beryllium. These toxic overloads can be treated with the bioresonance technology. For more information click on this link to the Aerotoxic web site www.aerotoxic.org
6) Extended use of pharmaceutical medication – antibiotics/steroids
8) Miscellaneous
Believe it or not I am trying to keep this section as brief as I can. There can be a number of further causation potentials - chemical imbalances (increase in the chemical that helps transmit pain signals, ‘substance P’, lower serotonin levels), glandular imbalances (thyroid, pineal, endocrine system etc;), hormone imbalances, oxidosis, hypothalamus, amygdala etc; that can contribute to the body not functioning correctly. It is not ‘all in your head’. It can be a physical malfunction that’s causing the problem. Albeit it can have been an emotional dis-stress that may have contributed to causing the physical imbalance!
All I’m saying is that there can be more than one contributory factor that led to the condition appearing. Effectively your body’s systems are out of balance. Put simply, with the treatments and therapies I employ I look to help the body back into balance and remove anything that may have caused it or be preventing you having full health and a pain free existence.
Fibromyalgia Specific Contributory Factors
1) Severe trauma to the upper neck area
This can be through whiplash in a car accident or direct trauma to that particular area i.e. falling backwards and taking a knock to the back of the head (in particular the spinal vertebrae where the spine enters the top of the head; traditionally the cervical vertebrae c1 to c5).
Interesting to note that sometimes the FM condition does not come on straight away after an event and it can be a number of months before the condition starts to appear.
2) Childbirth/After a general anaesthetic operation
The above is not meant as a comprehensive listing; it is a listing of the areas I have encountered with my patients that have in my estimation contributed to the conditions arising.
When selecting a therapy/treatment to help yourself take time to consider why or where your condition may have come about. This will help you in deciding what is the most relevant treatment or therapy that is then likely to be successful for you i.e. ‘talking’ or energy therapies like EFT are very good to get results from conditions that have been brought about by stress but are simply not effective where conditions are more physically related i.e. trauma to the neck area or bacteria/parasites/toxins in the body’s system preventing balance. These areas require specific treatment like bioresonance.
If you are unclear or confused as to why the condition may have come about simply send me an email detailing when the condition came on etc; In many circumstances it may not be instantly recognisable, and in some cases it can be a combination of factors that require treatment. As I mentioned earlier having the condition itself can lead to a deterioration in other areas of the body’s system; so you have to take a holistic view to effecting successful treatment.
