About Me
i have been diagnosed with so many diferent things, now with faicial pain, trialga neuralgia, atypical pain, chronic pain syndrome, been investegated for ms,which i beleive ,and always will i may be suffering with.
i have high b/p,angina,arthritic knee, plus cartilidge damage, have many meds including gabapentin for pain, and put alot of weight on,now weigh at 14.09 st.i used to be very slim for years, but after a oopthecyomy, hysterectomy, and glandalar fever a year later,i ahve very unwell, suffereing a chronic back injury,i have many weird and wonderful symptoms, pins and needles burning crawling, tugging and pulling, and inner vibrations constantly now for some eight years.
i live with this now,and fear it will be with me always,my son suffers chronic fatigue syndrome bless him ,he is 26 now.i have a elder daughter 29,and my youngest a meer 19 at uni.
i have always suffered facial pain since my teens and around 17,at the young age of eight i suffered facial trauma to my right hand side, close to my eye, needing a few stiches,i later a few years refered through neurology had a nerve block, they thought my cheek bone may have had a fracture line, others diagreed, and so my journey of pain began, going on to the other side of my face, and remained with me ,and stil does, intil it changed after, the glandular illness, when it spread,to both sides with head pains and temple pains, crawling pins and needles severe burning through to my color bones, where i was put on gabapentin, and still take it to this day. as weeks went on i suffered eye and throat infections flu like bouts,if i did more i suffered more.then i noticed my neck swelling onto dowergers hump, then haevy booots feeling, then followed haevy legs, then i suffered a balance problem falling to my left, followed by a back injury, followed by a bout where i suffered intence pain, and it felt like my whole girdle tilted upwards,i had physio for weeks, then the pins and needles stared, then burning, and burning patches all over my body, before this i had bouts where i couldn't reach out, like having frozen shoulders, but on both sides. my gp is retiring, and i now have to go through eight years of progressive symptoms, and now have diabetes2 and feel really tired ,
is there are there people like me,can i cope without gabpentin ,or will i suffere more symptoms and pain.
